Sub Sook Privacy Policy

Summary

Sub Sook stores your subscriptions and recurring bills locally in the app's database on this device (SQLite). No account or sign-in is required, and none of your data is uploaded to any server. We do not sell your data or use cross-app advertising tracking.

Your data

All your data lives in the app's local database on this device. None of your data is uploaded.

Data we store

Item names, amounts, billing dates, categories, tags, shared members, payment history, and budget settings live in local SQLite on your device. Sub Sook Premium adds optional JSON export/backup files on device (shared only when you choose to).

Backups

Backup files the app creates stay in the app's storage on this device. Sharing a JSON backup or CSV export (Premium) happens only when you trigger it yourself via the system share sheet.

Exchange rates

USD/THB rates from open.er-api.com (no account). Cached ~24 hours with defaults when offline.

Notifications

Local notifications remind you before billing dates. You can disable them in system settings or in the app.

Biometric lock

Face ID / Touch ID / fingerprint is processed on your device only — we do not store biometric data.

Home screen widget (Premium, iOS)

Widget summary data is shared between the app and widget via an App Group on your device. It is not sent to our servers separately for the widget.

Sub Sook Premium

Managed by RevenueCat (using an anonymous user ID — never linked to your name or email), billed by Apple or Google. We receive subscription status only, not full card details. No free Premium trial in the app. Premium adds higher item limits, export/backup features, and (on iOS) home screen widgets.

Deleting data

• Items: Deleting an item removes it from this device only.
• All data: Uninstalling the app removes all local data.
• Reset without uninstalling: In the app, open Privacy Policy and use Delete all data on this device at the bottom of the “Deleting data” section.
